Links that outlive the page they point at
Hand out one short address, then move where it goes as often as you like - the copy in somebody’s email still works. Moving it is what an account is for: a link has to belong to somebody before anybody can repoint it. Links you already made in this browser become yours when you sign in.
We ask Google for your name and email address, and nothing else.
